A young man called Yuu lives in a quiet residential area. He appreciates the evening when the doorbell rings. Yuu heads to the door, though he doesn’t recall inviting anyone to his place at such a late time. When the door opens, Yuu’s face frowns. Right before him comes Killian, a tall, sporty black man who greets Yuu before stepping into the apartment. Before Yuu makes an objection, he notices Killian comes with a strange being, not older than two years old, looking at his host with a fierce look. Looking back and forth at Killian and the little boy, Yuu understands being in trouble because of a man’s foolish actions. How will Yuu handle the situation? Is parenting suitable for him? Welcome Ciarán [Novella] is a spin-off of The Sinful Child and features two of its original characters, Yuu Hartglove and Killian Sifa. The male protagonist’s personality changed to suit the spin-off narrative, making the story more enjoyable and fun to read.
