Which Naruto Teams Would You Fit In?

As you know by now, here at CindyMBK, we love transporting fans to a universe they adore and making their dreams a reality. And if it turns out you’re not a fan, or even a hater, or if you know nothing about the work, I’m going to help you get interested so you, too, can start enjoying it, which will be the case with this second episode in the Naruto universe.

After all, the motto here is to leave your negativity behind and appreciate the beauties of life. But I’ll understand your defeatism when the end of the month approaches… and the accompanying adult responsibilities (you heard me, those darn bills).

This time, the story is simple… Or so you thought, didn’t you? Too bad for you, but I love inventing crazy scenarios: it’s my guilty pleasure.

 

Team 7 from the Naruto anime

 

After choosing to make a pact with the devil (not Lucifer this time, but one who comes close), you realised that choosing to live Ciel Phantomhive‘s life at the expense of Earl Cain Hargreaves‘s was a big mistake. Alas, it’s already too late for you!

Why a big mistake?

After all, you had the privilege of enjoying the graceful sight of Sebastian Michaelis, your Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler if you didn’t get the joke), from morning till night, seven days a week. Many women in the Black Butler universe would dream of living with this eloquent man, who was perhaps a little too playful with his master. Well, know that you would have gladly given up your place to these women if death hadn’t claimed you for the second time.

How did this happen?

 

 

 

What if you reincarnate in Black Butler or Earl Cain?

 

 

As Sebastian’s demon title readily suggested, once your contract with the butler was fulfilled, he gleefully set about fulfilling his end of the bargain by devouring your soul. You begged Adam Kadamon to appear and help you, and to your surprise, the seraph answered your call. But this time, he didn’t bother showing up in person—he only had to deal with the problems of a sinner—and sent Rosiel instead.

 

You quickly realised something was amiss.

 

Rosiel, the androgynous-looking angel from Kaori Yuki’s universe, confirmed your fears when he announced with such enthusiasm that you realised he’d been forced to rescue you from the clutches of your once-beloved Sebastian’s voracious appetite:

“Go to Konoha and try to fit in with one of their teams. Good luck!”

And so began your adventure… or misadventure, as you decide.

 

Naruto dreams of becoming the Sixth Hokage

In this version of Naruto, Shippuden is a joke that exists only in Naruto‘s overactive imagination, and everyone mocks him—except for Konohamaru’s team, because they know his dream of becoming Hokage is just that: a dream.

 

So, which team would you like to join as a trainee?

 

 

 

Because yes, Rosiel couldn’t find a better cover than you being an intern eager to become a ninja by the end of the month. This gives you four weeks to change your attitude and hopefully leave your place in the Underworld alongside tyrants like Dio Brando, Souther, Frieza, and Koumokuten to anyone who wants it.

 

Team Kakashi

Remember Sebastian! He bewitched you with his handsome, seductive smile—leading to your second death. So, don’t fall into the trap of Kakashi-sensei and his charisma, which makes fools of all his opponents… and I’m not talking about Guy-sensei here!

That said, your hesitation is perfectly justified; mentors like the great Kakashi don’t exactly grow on trees. But if you’re looking to atone for your sins, staying by Kakashi’s side might not be the path that leads your sinful soul to paradise.

As for Sasuke, his arrogance might well put you off Team 7, but keep in mind that—despite his princely airs—the boy has a good heart. After all, who could forget how he dodged all of Haku’s attacks to protect Naruto, making readers scream with joy when they realised he was using the Sharingan? And that’s not all: being around a genius of Sasuke’s calibre might—who knows?—allow you to learn the Chidori or the Shishi Rendan yourself.

I wouldn’t say no to that!

Sakura? If you’re lucky enough to have bulging pecs like Roronoa Zoro’s, there’s a good chance Sakura will like you; with a bit of luck, she’ll dote on you and help you fit in with the team. If, however, you happen to be a clone of Rock Lee, you’ll suffer torments far worse than anything Sebastian Michaelis could inflict!

As for Naruto—if you do have the honour of Sakura liking you, rest assured that the little blond won’t be too fond of you. But is it really a problem if you’re lucky enough to get into Kakashi-sensei’s good graces? I doubt it!

 

 

What If You Were To Live The Robin’s Life?

 

 

 

Team Asuma

This is definitely the team I’d choose if Adam Kadamon and his whole crew forced me to intern with a Chunin-led squad. Because, let’s be honest: you couldn’t ask for a more laid-back guy than Shikamaru.

However, if you’re a motivated intern hungry for knowledge about the ninja world, you’ve come to the wrong place. Shikamaru may be a genius, but his laziness is contagious—and that’s not what you’re looking for.

As for Chouji, his skill level is actually higher than his best friend Shikamaru’s; but—with all due respect to the character—matching Shikamaru’s level of sloth would be nothing short of diabolical.

And Ino? Her looks might suggest a stuck-up girl obsessed with beauty, but her friendship with an ingrate like Sakura Haruno—at least until Sakura ended it over a boy who couldn’t care less about her—proves that appearances can be deceiving.

Ino might just be the perfect candidate on Team Asuma to teach you not only the ninja trade but also, perhaps, the true meaning of friendship—and the cost of reaching out to someone who has absolutely no concept of gratitude.

Decades have passed, yet Sakura’s behaviour toward Ino still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth… though she really has no room to complain, given there’s another expert in that department.

 

Team Kurenai

Shino is as talkative as an owl. Try learning about the ninja life from him, and you’ll find yourself at square one—having learned absolutely nothing, professionally or socially. That said, if you enjoy the company of someone who refuses to waste his breath—leaving you to do all the talking while you spill gossip from dawn till dusk—then Shino is the perfect companion for this journey toward redemption.

Follow Hinata‘s advice, and be sure the faces you’ll end up admiring every day will be those of Dio Brando and the other tyrants mentioned earlier.

 

 

Many of you might ask:

“Why? Hinata is the kindest girl in the entire manga universe!”

To all those people, I invite you to re-watch or re-read her first fight against Neji—and recall what she said to him before Kurenai and Kakashi sensei stepped in to save her. Who knows what even more wretched state Neji might have left her in? Honestly, I wouldn’t have blamed him one bit.

And don’t get me started on that time she was rooting for Naruto while her teammate, Kiba, was fighting the boy she loved—a boy who, last time I checked, had more love for Sasuke than for the Hyuuga girl.

When it comes to team spirit, the story has certainly seen characters who were more invested.

However, if those two points don’t bother you, then Hinata’s calm nature and conflict-free personality may just win you over. In that regard, she stands in stark contrast to Kiba, who is far more extroverted than the rest of his teammates. The best thing about Kiba? If you’re an animal lover, you’ll be delighted to spend your days around his lovely dog, Akamaru.

Highly considered, Team Kurenai might be a great fit for down-to-earth people who want conflict-free teammates.

 

Team Guy

A team with true spirit—ideal for an intern like you. But, alas, nothing is ever perfect; the very thing that makes Guy-sensei’s team strong is also its biggest liability: Neji. The young Hyuga’s arrogance is enough to humble even Sasuke Uchiha—and that’s saying something!

What’s more, he didn’t hesitate to give his cousin Hinata a sound thrashing just to remind her which of the two deserves to be remembered by fans whenever the Hyuuga name is mentioned.

Despite the criticism levelled at Hinata, the young lady never asked to be born into the main branch—or even to be born at all. Consequently, if Neji has a score to settle, it should be with Sarutobi-sensei—a  kind reminder to fans who have a habit of conveniently losing their memory—since he was there in the flesh and witnessed the inequalities between the two branches of the Hyuuga clan.

Shame on him!

 

 

 

If you happen to be friends with Hinata, rest assured that joining Team Guy will be an ordeal that makes you long for Dio’s “MUDA” attacks.

Tenten has a sharp mind, but she is also very aware of her limits. In other words, heeding Tenten’s advice will help you become a Jonin who has mastered the art of scrolls. However, stay on your guard if you ever have to face Team Suna; Temari certainly didn’t pull any punches. Yet, this fact is known only to you and Naruto’s “overactive” imagination.

Lee can be an excellent companion, provided you have the stamina to handle his boundless energy and potential training sessions at any hour of the night. It is never too early or too late to push past your limits and develop a new taijutsu that rivals that of your classmates—who possess a gift bestowed upon them at birth.

 

Who said genetics doesn’t have favourites?

Don’t forget that this stage is meant to offer you a chance to redeem your past misdeeds and secure a place among the most deserving—a group that, alas for his fans, does not include Dio Brando.
